Principles

Truly effective leadership and management development requires an understanding of a client's context and creatively designing new solutions. We have applied our extensive experience to develop principles to guide leadership development:

  1. Linking development with the organisation's values and purpose, vision and strategic plan
  2. Engaging senior management in the design process
  3. Exposure of participants to senior management
  4. Support and involvement of the participant's direct manager (meetings pre and post-workshops)
  5. Action learning: designing action learning projects to implement learning between workshops sessions
  6. Participant peer group meetings between sessions
  7. Feedback (from manager and programme peers)
  8. One-on-one coaching by programme leaders
